Defense

Setting a record of yards against in a playoff game.  Having to defend against two short fields given up by turnovers.  That feeling of defeat could've easily set in and robbed us of a victory, but you never really saw that.

I usually try to think of someone different just to play devils advocate in these kind of threads, but Cam is bar none, 100% our gamechanger.  If Cam has a good game (IE 200 yards passing, 100 yards rushing, no turnovers), this game is easily ours, Seattle doesn't have the personnel to match up with that kind of production.

It's a toss up between Cam and the over all Defense.

If Cam throws pics and fumbles the ball, we're done.  The AZ game was very sloppy.  If we make those mistakes against Seattle, it's not going to be very easy to over come that.  Cam is going to have to be much more accurate with his throws, make the right reads and manage risk well.  If he can protect the ball, make some plays with his feet and arm, then we can win.

Defensively, we have to continue to contain Lynch.  We cannot let Beastmode cause another Beastquake, that will get everyone in Seattle so pumped up that we won't have the energy to match that.  We have done a pretty good job when we have played him of keeping him bottled up.  We must also keep Wilson contained.  If Wilson is allow to make plays with his legs, our young CBs are going to have to cover for a lot longer.  Or what worse, if he's able to run around and make some room, then he has the wheels to simply jet into those open areas and get huge chunks of yards.

This game is going to come down to who makes the most mistakes.  If we make a bunch of bone headed mistakes like with Arizona, we're going to get blown away.  Their secondary is quite good, and they will snap up any bad throws.  If we give them good field position because of dumb mistakes, they are going to tear us a new one.
