City of Charlotte

If you want to sit, there is a real comfy couch in your living room.

I don't sit the whole game. I stand up like everyone else when the moment calls for it, but standing up from kick off to the end of the 4th in my opinion is ridiculous. I pay good money to go and watch a game, not to see some dudes backside.

The only evidence you present to support that Charlotte is full of a bunch of "fairies" is that you can't take your shirt off at games. Big fuging deal.

I go to Hornets games and Panther games often and have been to sporting events outside of Charlotte. It's really no different. Our fans are awesome when our team is worth a poo, same goes for other cities for the most part.

Once again, it's not about being able to just take your shirt off. It's about making rules to accommodate people who go to one game a season and then could care less if the panthers never played another game. I know you can't let people run wild, maybe it's just the "family friendly" phrase that makes me feel like it's too policed.

I've sat in every section and never been asked to sit. But during regular games I sit during timeouts and stuff. You get the odd group who are standing and texting and chatting and not even watching the game but whatever.

The shirt and prayer complaints are silly. Is anyone really adamant about this? So don't pray.

I mean they make us remove our hats for the anthem. Jerks.

The crowds and the courtesies at BOA Stadium reflect the region's long held values for the most part.

BOA might not achieve the atmosphere of a Lambeau Field crowd, but on the other hand we haven't sunk to the level of some of the fans that inhabit places like Lincoln Financial Field either.

For that we should be thankful.

I could go on forever about this so I'm going to make it as short and sweet as possible.

Does anyone else feel like the city of Charlotte is a bunch of fairies? I live in Charlotte, I go to many Hornets games, many Panthers games and loyal to the sports 100 percent. I love this city as well. But you can't even take your shirt off at a game anymore. It's "family friendly" everything. Call security if the guy beside you is acting crazy. God forbid you pay $100 for a Panthers ticket and want to scream and yell a little bit or don't want to sit down the whole game.

It bums me out. This city is young and I know we don't compare in history to places like Philly, who has a holding cell in their stadium, or places who will support their teams no matter what like Buffalo, Chicago, New York. But that is what we need. And I just feel like these big wigs in the city "wow" their clients with floor seats or a box suite at Bank of America and close the deal and move on.

I just feel like it's so censored here, you can't show your passion. There are people here who love sports. We should be able to show it, if you want to take your shirt off, do it. Me personally, if I catch you in the opposing teams jersey you're in for a long day. I should have that right, so should everyone. Either way, blah blah I'll stop whining. I'm ready for Saturday. Panther nation, BRING THE MOTHER fugIN RUCKUS!

Excuse me sir can you sit down please? I am trying to watch the game.

The crowd is very wine and cheese that's undeniable. Not taking your shirt off rule is solid though. I don't consider that family friendly I consider that common sense. Nobody is trying to sit next to a fat sweaty forty year old.

Lately though I feel like you can get away with more and it really all depends on who is sitting near you. I was 95% sure I was getting kicked out of the Saints game and it just never happened.

That's all people on here do is whine. Just pitching in. It makes Charlotte look stupid to have a prayer. Even more fuel to the make-fun-of-the-south fire.

Behold my field in which I grow my fugs. Lay thine eyes upon it, and thou shalt see that it is barren.

Aw, you mad?

Yes, it does. Classic Bible Belt redneck hicks. That's what it makes you look like.

ALL that needs to be said is "If you'd like to pray, please rise" not "please rise". It's inconsiderate and ignorant to expect people to pray in a public environment.

BTW, my father is a minister.

No I'm not mad. I'm not religious.

I just find it ironic that you talk so much poo about what us southerners "look like" when you have zero idea how big of a douche you are.
