saturday was exactly what I love about football, it was loud and had great football conversation at the same time. we were standing at the first play but I noticed the couple behind me weren't...so I asked if it was ok, the women said you better, go get em big guy.

they also could watch the huge screen which made it easier to stand.  it was perfect and having the guys high five the fans after the game was the perfect ending.

we did have some choice words for Ginn...who turned around to smile at us in the 3rd and said enough please. but it was all in fun and fairly clean chatter

sounds like a college atmosphere is what your looking for....

It has nothing to do with getting drunk or being an intoxicated maniac or me taking MY shirt off. Saturday was an exception, it was amazing and I had a blast as well but it was a playoff game. I've been to countless regular season games over the years and people whine and moan about standing up and being loud. It's about all the unnecessary rules to please a bunch of people who go to games one time a year and could care less if the panthers left town tomorrow.

Last Saturday was awesome. You are correct. I was there and everyone basically in the section I was in was standing the whole time and really showing some love. Definitely one of the best experiences I've had at Bank of America

I used to stand up the entire game at Sanford Stadium. That's the norm at college games in the student section. As a full grown man in his mid 40s, I don't feel inclined to stand up the whole game, and I don't think that standing up is necessary to display enthusiasm or support for one's team.

Everyone knows my thoughts on this so no need to add in. But I'll once again at least say this much: other than the OKC Thunder, we're the only pro sports team in the USA that prays before the game. That speaks volumes and JR is the reason.

The Hornets held invocation at every home game as well. They continued after they moved to the toilet. When the Hornets played in OKC after Katrina, they continued with the invocation in OKC. That is why the Thunder does invocation.

The Panthers likely do it because the Hornets did it. It actually doesn't speak volumes and George Shinn is more the reason than JR.

Maybe try Nascar?

I always hear these arguments about fans calling security on other fans. I've been to dozens of games over the years and I've never seen someone throw out unjustly. Maybe stop getting drunk and acting like an asshole.

If being sober and polite makes you a fairy... i dunno man go watch wrastling.

I respect your opinion 100 percent. And I personally don't stand the whole game either, with the exception of last Saturday.

You obviously haven't read anything that's been said. I just said it's not about anyone getting drunk or acting like an asshole. I am sober at panthers games. It's about making fairy ass rules to accommodate people who go to one game a season and could care less if they moved the panthers to London tomorrow.
