Rivera said that if we won the coin toss against Arizona, he was going to choose the ball. The rationale is that we are running a more aggressive, up-tempo offense, and we want to establish the pace of the game on our own terms. If he's willing to do that against Arizona's defense, I wouldn't be surprised if he did it against Seattle.

I honestly don't see much drop off from AZ's defense to Seattle's. AZ's defense knew going in that their offense was terrible and would have to account for them.

Don't want our defense out there any longer than they need to be.  Keeping them fresh to start is better than putting them out there first.  Let's receive, run 8 minutes off the clock and kick a field....I mean score a touchdown.  Then give them the D and get a turnover.

Crowd noise is always less after halftime because not all of the crowd gets back to there seats after taking a leak and grabbing beers. That is one reason lots of coaches defer at home
