63% is below average for a WCO quarterback. With many throws being short timing routes or dump off passes you would expect him to be even higher. His completion percentage is 20th in the league for starting quarterbacks behind such notables as Cutler, Orton, Fitzpatrick, Sanchez and a bunch others.

Is Wilson more accurate than Cam? Yep. But that is hardly difficult as Cam is ranked 29th in completion rate. What benefits Wilson is that he isn't asked to do that much.

This isn't the 2005 Seahawks you are playing...the Hawks under Russell Wilson, Darrell Bevell and Russell Wilson are not really a WCO team.  Furthermore Russell's passing percentage takes a hit, not because he is inaccurate, but rather because he throws so many balls away due to poor pass protection,

Wilson certainly let me down a couple times this season. Mainly his last game of the regular season. Or the week before. It was one of the two. :)

Oh, you must mean the week before against the Cardinals....yeah, the game where he posted a QB rating of 122.9 and was 20 of 31 for 339 yards and 2 TDs.  Oh yeah and he ran for 88 yards and 2 TDs.

Sure they are. There are only 3 main types, Coryell, Erhardt-Perkins and WCO. Given no one runs a run and shoot or pure spread in the NFL you are pretty much one of the three. Few offenses are pure anything and borrow from one or the other.

As for throwing away the ball he should use more hot reads and dump offs if they are so bad. For all the throw aways he still had 42 sacks. I guess you guys never heard of play action to slow the pass rush.

Did this dude really claim to go watch some tape to learn our team (lol Eagle highlights more like it), and his first assessment when he comes back is calling Hardy a joke?

Lmao, Hardy has only played 1 game this season you fuging retard, and it was the first game of the season, not the Eagles game.

And that Eagles game is literally probably one of the worst games you could've picked, we're literally a completely different team personnel wise,  Go watch any game from the past month.  Carolina @ New Orleans, Tampa Bay @ Carolina, Cleveland @ Carolina, Carolina @ Atlanta, or the Wild Card game.

Any of those games are more representative of what you're going to be seeing this weekend - minus Star (a huge part of our defense, which sucks) and potentially Philly Brown, our deep threat.

Hardy definitely played in the Eagles game on November 14.  He played badly.

There were two reasons I picked the Eagles game.  One ...it was only 6 weeks ago before the playoffs started and secondly we both played the Eagles.  The Hawks played the Eagles 4 weeks after the Panthers did.  Plus the Eagles had a pretty good record at the time we played them so it seemed like a decent test for both of our teams.

This thread is about our secondaries.  Hardy is fair game in this discussion.

I'm certain I will view more video as we get closer to Saturday.  I have to say though that so far I haven't been impressed with what I've seen of the Panther secondary.

Hardy went on the exempt list after week 1. He hasn't played since week 1 bc he isn't allowed to play

Look I didn't think to get in my time machine and go back to that game and do a DNA test on the guy in the Panthers uni that says "Hardy".

Here is the video...

Watch it and then if you have anything resembling a readjustment to your previous statements I'd be tickled to see it.

I watched the game....I watch them all.

Greg Hardy has been suspended with pay since week 1. He isn't there.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000396161/article/panthers-greg-hardy-to-be-put-on-exempt-list

The Carolina Panthers announced on Wednesday that defensive end Greg Hardy will be placed on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission List, following the lead of the Minnesota Vikings' handling of Adrian Peterson.

The Exempt List is the same one that Peterson landed on earlier in the day as he addresses the legal issues connected to an indictment on a charge of reckless or negligent injury to a child. The designation requires that Hardy remain away from all team activities while on the exempt list.

"Greg had the option to do this and he took it," Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman said Wednesday. "This is what he chose. This is the option he chose."

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport first reported Wednesday the Panthers and Hardy's reps met to discuss potentially putting the fifth-year player on the list, according to a source involved in the process. Hardy subsequently left the Panthers facility with his agent Drew Rosenhaus and did not practice.

Hardy was arrested on charges of assault on a female and communicating threats in May. Hardy was found guilty by a judge on July 15 and requested a jury trial, which is scheduled to begin Nov. 17. Hardy's potential timetable for a return to the field in Carolina is uncertain. He was playing out a one-year contract as the team's franchise player that will pay him $13.1 million this season. He will continue to get paid while he's on the list.

Hardy played Week 1 as the organization cited allowing the legal process to play out as the reason for not sitting their defensive star. The franchise -- under increasing public scrutiny -- reversed course Sunday morning and deactivated Hardy for their Week 2 game. Panthers coachRon Rivera said after the team's win over the Detroit Lions that the decision to deactivate Hardy was his.

The decision on Wednesday came from both parties. Gettleman admitted that it has been a difficult, disappointing process to navigate.

"There is no rule book for this. Our overriding goal has always been to do the right thing," Gettleman said.

Rivera echoed that point further when addressing the media Wednesday.

"We're worried about the wrong things...trying to find out who to blame," said Rivera. "I hope people understand we're trying to get this right."

The NFL Players Association issued this statement following Wednesday's announcement:

"Today, Greg Hardy made a decision to take a voluntary leave of absence to resolve his pending legal issue. The NFLPA and NFL worked with Greg, his representatives and the Carolina Pantherson this matter. We support this decision and hope the best for him and his family."

"We support the decision that Greg Hardy and the Panthers made today," said the NFL in their own brief statement.

My bad.  The player I was looking at was Roland Harper #41.  It looked like Hardy to me while they were rolling around so I just did a frame by frame look at the video and you are correct and I'm an old idiot.  I swear it looked like "Hardy" last night.  I don't even know most of the panther players. I didn't just pull the name out of thin air. I just read it wrong.  I screwed up!

Turns out your Hardy is a defensive end anyway.. not even a part of the defensive backfield.

Strangely enough Harper isn't listed on the Panther roster.  This appearing disappearing Panther player game is making me a bit crazy !!!!

You sir are a dumbass, you have just blown any shot of credibility you had. How can you come to another team's board and try to debate them on players on our team. Not only that, but do you pay attention to the rest of the NFL. Pretty common knowledge that we haven't had Hardy all season. Take 13 million off your roster and see how you look
