2015 Hall of Fame Inductees

Largest class in sixty years, big change from only have three total for the last two years.

Randy Johnson (97.3%)

Pedro Martinez (91.1%)

John Smotlz (82.9%)

Craig Biggio (82.7%)

Glad to see this as all four clearly deserve it.  Biggio should have been in two years ago.

Mike Piazza was the closest to miss at 69.9% followed by Jeff Bagwell (55.7) and Tim Raines (55.0).

Curt Schilling (39.2), Roger Clemens (37.5), and Barry Bonds (36.8) remained in the conversation but also have a ways to go.

On a side note, I think it is crazy that Clemens is higher than Bonds.  If a voter wants to vote for neither then that is their prerogative but there is absolutely no justification for voting for one and not the other.

I was so happy that Biggio got on.

I think Schilling should get in if Pedro did.

I'm surprised at Piazza and Bagwell getting votes, I guess nothing was proven but most people are pretty sure those guys juiced.  May be hard to ignore Piazza's offensive production from that position though.

Tim Raines was the man.

Clemens and Bonds shouldn't get any votes as long as Rose can't be put in.

I agree with Piazza and Bagwell.  Not sure how someone votes for them and not Bonds/Clemens.

I disagree on the Rose point though.  Rose broke a rule where it is well known that you are banned from baseball forever, Bonds and Clemens did no such thing.  It was not even penalized at all at the time and even now that it is the person is not banned forever, simply sent away for fifty games.

I still think Rose should be in there but their situations are different.
