Elisa was bi-polar. According to the docs, she had a psychotic episode. Regardless, none of this poo adds up.

 

has anybody explained how she ended up in a locked water cistern?

 

I guess she could have climbed in there on her own, 'escaping' from whoever, and then maybe a maintenance guy saw that the thing was unlocked so he locked it.

As a Pyschology enthusiast I have spent years researching possessions and exorcisms. I have read scripts, watched videos and read countless books and articles. Elisa's case came up and it's really not that unexplainable.

I tried so very hard while studying this stuff to not be bias because I really don't believe in supernatural interacting with this world (but I do believe in supernatural), but every case there is some sort of break down. Medication, drugs, past mental issues is a big one, brain trauma, incorrect diagnosis....

I have yet to come across a relevant case where a completely normal person with zero history of anything like the above mentioned doing something like Elisa or possessed like Doe, Michel...etc.

Haven't gotten there yet. Are you referring to the actual murders or the family that moved in afterward? I have not read or studied any kind of object possesions like houses or dolls, I also haven't read much on actualy murders. Just posessions themselves. Amityville is certainley on the list, it is quite interesting. People can snap like that, however it is quite rare it is in an instant and there are not signs beforehand. And of you notice, once they stap, they don't go back to normal even when moved miles and miles away. Some feel the supernatural has caused a mental issue, to me I see it as a mntal issue erupting and continuing. I have only been reading things for a couple years and started with Michel, and have go to other single case studies. Eventually, I will get there for sure.

 

It's not easy to try and research these things for a couple reasons, the first being that a lot of possesions that are 'unexplainable' just so happen to be in time areas where there isn't a lot of technology to help prove or disprove what is happening, some people are not properly evaluated by medical professionals either through lack of access or just because of the time period. Which makes you wonder why so many 'unexplainable' possessions happend a sunstantially long time ago...there are close to zero happening in advanced societies around the world, yet there are many happening in poorer countries. There is a reason from that...from lack of nutrition leadning to various issues to lack of knownledge to the unavilability of the medical world.

 

This relates a little with another problem I am having, you won't find a book a medical doctor has written in their experiences with excorsisms and people claiming to be possessed. But you will find a whole lot from priests. That is what I have been reading and while very interesting you have to remember they are written by people who cannot be conviced that supernatural activity did not play a role.

 

I am being critical of corse, and am imposing my beliefs on the situations but if I thought I knew what exactly happend I believe I would not be so interested in reading and studying these things. The mind is the only part of the body we cannot explain, it is very powerful. People can convince themselves of almost anything.

 

I started with scripte if you're intersted. You can find them everywhere traslated. RIght now I am looking into the subject of speaking in tongues, there are some books on it (by priests of corse). But the scripts are what sucked me into all this lol, they are quite interesting, the words that are said by someone who is 'possessed' and how they might relate to other mental conditions like Autism, Schizo, personality disorders.
