Do you ever cry ......

The only time I cried after a sporting event was the '04 World Series.  I did get pissed off and try to walk home after the Super Bowl.  In my mind it was a good idea since I was too drunk to drive and did not want to be at a party anymore.  The fact that I lived ten miles away though failed to register at the time.

didn't cry but I am man enough to admit I got choked up just a little when Percy ran back the 2nd half kick off for a touchdown and the reality of winning the Suprt Bowl started to sink in.

I got choked up after Sherman tipped Kaepernick's stupid pass to Malcolm Smith in the NFCCG and the reality that we were going to the SB finally set in.

The SB itself was just a different all the way through. Lots of nervous energy through the first half, even while we were doing well, and then I just laughed the entire 2nd half. Laughed and laughed and laughed.

funny you mention that....the row of young Bronco fans behind us at Super Bowl were laughing and laughing and laughing until about the end of the 1st quarter and then they got filled with nervous energy and got real quiet for the rest of the night!

Never cry. When we loose a big game, like when we lost the SuperBowl, I wouldn't eat for a day. My stomach was in knots. :)

Now, I just tell myself it's just a game, turn off my TV, forget about football and lower my expectations when training camp starts back up.

Only time I cried after a big game was the Cajuns 2011 New Orleans Bowl.  I'm a die hard Cajuns fan, went to every game for 10 years and watched us field some of the worst college teams in all of college football, for us to finally get it turned around and go to our first bowl game in 40 years was crazy unto itself, then SDSU scored a TD to take a 1 point lead with 30 seconds to go and us having no timeouts.  I didn't cry then, I probably kicked my chair and uttered a ton of profanity.  We got the ball back and some how we drove down and kicked a 50 yard field goal as time expired.  When it happened 40 years of misery for my alma mater was all I could think about.  Guys like Brian Mitchell, Jake Delhomme, and Charles Tillman never even got a chance to be in a bowl game, and that night we changed the perception of what Ragin Cajuns football was.  Anytime I see the final kick I get chills.
