it's not popular here but a 3-4 OLB is more valuable than a 4-3 OLB because he's a DE. if that guy can't rush the passer or play the run your defense is complete poo.

TD is every bit as good as Luke, that's not an over statement. 4-3 OLB just get no credit.

 

 

What I would give to see a prime Beason in there with Luke and TD. Poor Beason, all those years with a terrible front 4 and Davis being injured he was a one man wrecking crew, and when he did get help the injury big bite him

Keep in mind, we drafted Davis (as a safety) to spy on Vick. That was his purpose with us at first. He evolved into one of the best LBs in the NFL. Thomas is severely underrated but anyone who watches him for more than a full game knows he's the real deal.

Hate to be a dbag, but the fact that TD was a safety in college and was drafted to so spy Vick is common knowledge.

TD has been around for 10 seasons now and only spent his rookie year at safety/Joker. Might be common knowledge to older fans but probably not to the younger crowd or new fans who have taken a recent interest in the team.

Duh! That's the fugging point I was making, Einstein. No one saw him becoming one of the best OLBs in the game today. Davis was a safety who we drafted specifically to handle Vick.

Drafted as a linebacker.
