Yeah u guys seem cool, shame that we will destroy your team. Can't wait to see espn the following day too. When Seattle,the team everyone think will win it all( idk why they think that in the first place, but that's a different argument), loses to the supposedly worse team( guess they haven't seen the colts play?).

Went to olympic national park last summer, needless to say it was awesome and the weather was great.  The charlotte to seattle direct flight isn't bad at all, the San Juan islands were purdy neat too.

 

Any of yall ever been to NC? 

Never, but I think it would be interesting. Washington wasn't even a state until 1889 or something so we're completely lacking in that rich American history of the revolution, the antebellum period and civil war era that you have. Even our rich guys are relatively new, so we don't have old barons-of-industry estates like the Biltmore which I would love to tour.

Any regrets about having that neon green as one of the team colors? Honestly looks like a cheap Thai knock-off of Mountain Dew....

 

IIRC lot of the boats in Deadliest Catch are based in Seattle, so which boat do you root for? I'm a Northwestern guy, gotta root for fellow Norwegians.

 

How is your rookie class doing this year? Ours is doing well these past 5 games, they finally got healthy, so have fresh legs, too. No rookie walls, except for Kelvin Benjamin, who's started every game this year. He's hitting the rookie wall hard with all the work he's put in since May and not having late November/all of December off like last year in college.

You have to admit it's getting a little better. Last year the national Seahawks coverage consisted of a brief afterthought, usually just the final score accompanied by a shot of some costumed fans or the players getting chippy with Jimmy Graham or something. Shows were literally 30 minutes of reviewing every single snap the Packers made, then "Oh, yeah the Seahawks played too". 

Then Richard Sherman said something about a sorry receiver and Marshawn Lynch said nothing at all, and it was wall-to-wall coverage about that until we won the Super Bowl. Then they finally started talking football.

They got everything worked out. They're an absolute amazing piece of equipment. Much like the Amtrac became vital during the Pacific the Osprey has saved countless lives, including my own. They're an absolute dream to fast rope or jump out of. Also the looks of terror when the enemy first watched a plane slow down, then stop, hover and land was priceless

Ospreys still scare the crap out of me, I feel safer in a CH-53, but I've seen some of them malfunction and fall out of sky. I rather stay on the ground, lol.

Have never been to NC.  Would like to check out both Carolinas someday in the not too distant future.  I hear they're very underrated.

Haha.. the neon green is fine in really small amounts.  In 2009 for .. god knows what reason .. they decided to have an alternate jersey with the lime green as the MAIN color.  It was the ugliest uniform in the history of sport.  Pete Carroll banned them immediately the following year when he took over as coach. 

 

Have never watched Deadliest Catch.. I know quite a few of them are Seahawk fans though so that's cool.

 

Rookie class has been decent.  Paul Richardson has really come on the last few weeks and you can tell Russ trusts him a lot more.  Justin Britt is a beast in run blocking but has been abused by speed rushers in pass protection.. still you see flashes from him that tell you that he will be a really good tackle for many years to come.  Kevin Norwood has steady hands and reminds a lot of Seahawk fans of a taller Bobby Engram.  Kevin Pierre-Louis was showing a lot of signs of being a real playmaker and supplanting Malcolm Smith for good, but he was put on IR a couple months ago.  Cassius Marsh is kind of the same thing.. showed signs of being a good talent and broke his foot in practice.   The rest of the draft are projects.  But it doesn't look like a completely horrible class yet.  They may regret passing on Joel Bitonio though at 32.. he would have solved a lot of problems.  And it's pretty apparent that unless you completely suck at drafting that you could find a stud WR in last years draft.

I dig the throwbacks, but the new unis really grew on me.  Just love how they look.  Nike actually did it right for once IMO.
