Black Panthers are very good at camouflage, so it's really hard to tell how many there are, but there are at least a dozen.

I don't know about scary, but while fishing on the Deschutes River one of those bastards dove into the water and nabbed a 17-20 inch trout that was on MY LINE, then flew with and snapped that weak sauce garbage.

 

It was flying a turbocharged kite with a fishing pole.
