Simulating Crowd Noise

Seattle's loud but not much louder than the drunken incestuously retarded Cajuns in the Rape dome. Guys have seen this before.

I disgree, respectfully.  I have been to both places and I don't know if it is the way it is shaped or what but Seattle's stadium is the loudest thing I have ever heard...

and they were playing the Cardinals during a regular season game in 2002 (week 2).

it's absolutely the way the stadium is designed. it's basically a giant amphitheater for sports. the fans do try harder knowing they're basically on sound peds like their team is on regular peds so they get rambunctious. These are pro athletes tho and they've played on the road before. i don't put a lot of stock in home field advantage/crowd noise personally

It's the artificial crowd noise they pump in through speakers.

Also anyone wondering why their defense always seems to get better as the season wears on? The steroid cycles take a while to fully kick in after the preseason drug testing ends.

Pete Carroll cheated in college and he cheats in the pros.

The issue with the noise at the Clink centers around how the entire stadium was designed, the owner specifically built the stadium in such a way where the noise beams from the huge rafters above the crowd and the noise then bounces off and directly into the center of the stadium. The owner specifically installed gigantic rafters above the seats to make the sound ricochet and hit the field directly.

I suggested the other day that the only true way to prepare for it is for every offensive player have a iPod and earphones plugged in with noise BLARING through the earphones making verbal communication a impossibility.

Here is a vid I found on youtube of a Seattle game, this is raw and taken right from the stands, not the watered down sound you get from seeing it on TV.. This is the real deal..

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nUJEsMjT-t8

Jesus, didnt realize it sounded that way, I got a overwhelming sense of panic and clausterphobia just watching that vid with my earphones. Ive never heard anything like that before, Anyway, thats EXACTLY what the players need to practice with. Make our offensive starters plug in earphones with this vid blaring in their ears during offensive snaps.

Wow, you really feel trapped listening to that, just listen for yourself, it just cant be explained

That's pretty loud. But loud is loud right? Can't hear is can't hear. Kansas City is pretty loud too, although we lost that game it wasn't cause of the loudness, but execution. Lafell dropping a open would have been TD pass. Last season, 49ers was 1 play away from winning that game
