This is one of those signings that the fan base will generally love. A lunch pale guy who performed better than expected. RBs are a dime a dozen and not as important anymore to making the playoffs and winning the SB. I'd rather just cycle through young RBs who are hungry and have a lot to prove. But on the other hand you can't knock what Chubba has done here. -

He is right now. Never forget how we got here. We overpaid for Sanders it didn't work out. Then we follow it up and do the same damn thing smh. Better hope Chubba doesn't fall off a cliff because this could be a repeat situation. -

Exactly. Being 4 years but only that guaranteed, I bet there’s a clear out after year 2 or 3 with the guaranteed dropping off significantly. In addition, we’ll be saving a few mil after cutting Miles Sanders this offseason (5.5 cap space, 2.9 dead) so the RB room will just be Chuba, Brooks, and probably a 2025 rookie. Considering the growing cap, not a bad deal, not a pricey RB room. James Conner territory.
