True story: I live in Columbia and was in a local academy sports when I saw a bunch of NFL jerseys. I walked over to see if they had cam or Luke and when I got there I vomited in my mouth bc all they had were houston Texans jerseys. I don't have to tell you which Houston Texan it was but here's a hint, it wasn't watt.

I know we have some SC fans here but seriously, fug that state.

It's funny, I live in SC for the time being and I see a significant amount of Panthers bumper stickers or flags, so I know the fans are plentiful. But, when you go into the retailers looking for gear, there is an occasional shirt or shot glass and that's about it. I don't think it as the fans being the problem or the lack thereof, so much as the retailers not promoting the Panthers. Or at least the perception by corporate America is somehow that the team is the NC Panthers.

But I will give some props to Sports Authority, I went in a few weeks ago and actually found a Panthers section. Shirts, hats, PJ's, cups, mugs, some jersey's, blankets, and even a weird Carolina fan mask. It was nothing like I see in North Carolina retailers, but significant compared to other retailers in SC.

Didn't we have thus thread like a million times before? And does anyone really care what an ESPN poll says? It's the CAROLINA Panthers for a good reason with tons of fans in both states. Leave it alone finally!
