Who thinks we'll actually beat Seattle on Saturday?

I happen to agree that the teams match up well against each other, I was taking issue with someone saying that the Rams outplayed Seattle in the final game of the season....

Carolina now has2 good phases we can put on the field. O and D are likely playing at the highest level of play Seattle will have seen from us....we are built to have a close game matchup wise and problem are bringing more to the fight than in the past looking purely at O and D potential. And I not claiming we have real firepower....just a better rush attack than we normally square off with (which IMO is the best way to potentially beat Sea)

Issue for Carolina is our ST is a trainwreck. Big issue. In a slugfest, there is a lot of punting. We are so weak that the field position game likely will be the key. We don't cover kicks well and simply fielding a punt cleanly is asking a lot at this stage.

I do

The reason is Thomas Davis

If I am Rivera I put TD all day long on Wilson's ass and make sure someone is trailing to pick up the fumble

Wilson feasts on undisciplined front 7 s. That won't happen this time

My biggest concern is special teams. I have zero faith in Gano in big moments. Particularly wet big moments

Exactly. Wilson is tiny and slippery, but if you get a good hit on him once or twice, I think his game will fall apart. No one ever does. The Panthers need to. If anyone can, Davis or Kuechly can.

Good luck with that, the Hawks haven't lost by more than 10 points since 2011. I predict a good game, and a Hawks win...but hey, Any Given Sunday....it just won't be a blowout by Carolina....

SEA is bound to get blown out at some point. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's this weekend

For me it all comes down to whether or not our defense has turned in it's best performance yet. I think they are still building momentum. It would be scary as hell for our opponents to think that our D is capable of turning in a performance like the Arizona game against better competition. I don't think eyes are open to that yet. On top of that I think Cam is as healthy or healthier than at any point in the season, and he hasn't gone off yet. All good things come to an end Seattle, I think what shows up at your field isn't what you are preparing for. I'll go with 24-13 Panthers

I do love watching Wilson have to run for his life. Everyone forgets he's 5'10" and has to drop back farther to see over the line.

It's easy to forget that Drew Brees is a short QB that can extend plays until his WRs or TE open up. (He rolls right as Wilson does.) He can throw the ball so fast that we forget that. McDermott didn't and the Panthers d-line contained Brees last game while our secondary continually covered their assignments. That's the difference this game. Our DBs now can cover man-to-man and, with their speed, zone coverage is a plus. That gives the d-line the green light to attack while staying in their gaps. Even going to max protect didn't help the Saints and it won't help the Seahawks. It's the Perfect Storm for Wilson.

And do not give me the, "they can play Cam the same way", because they can not. 6'5", 245 lbs. Let them try. Cam will eat them alive.

I think the panthers will win simply because they can shut down marshawn lynch. Seahawks - lynch = not a very scary offense

This. No running, no offense.

We got this.
