You know how it feels when you're hyperactive and you discover Adderall : This team got its prescription a month ago filled.

We're fielding a talented team and a very fresh and talented secondary which is executing Gettlemagics plan 2 years earlier than expected .

We're creeping up on people and Seattle is Sadly next

Yes, I watched the game - I was there...

As far as the field goal that was not off of a turnover....that drive started at the 50 because our Gunner Ricardo Lockette inexplicably ran into the guy who fair caught the punt a good 3 seconds after the punt was fair caught - that drive progressed about 30 yards before stalling and resulting in a TD.

The Baldwin catch at the end of the first half was for 38 yards - the Hawks won the total yardage by a total of 354 to 203 - even if you take away the 38 yard catch, the hawks still win the yardage battle by over 100 yards.

As for first downs, when a team averages more yards per play sometimes it results in less overall first downs.

As for the Rams killing drives with Penalties - You really haven't watched the Hawks this year, have you? The Rams game may have been an exception, but the Hawks are generally good for 3 drive killing penalties a game themselves.

As far as the 3 turnovers - you poo poo them like the Rams were inept and just gave Seattle the ball - The fumble on the goal-line and resulting touchback to Seattle was one of the Defensive Plays of the Year and was made by Earl Thomas karate chopping the ball out of the runner's hands as he reached for the End Zone and then scooping the ball out of bounds for the touchback. The QB spike INT was fluky, but still was the result of a heads-up play by Jordan Hill and finally, the Bruce Irvin Pick 6 was not a result of the Rams player "Bobbling the ball" but was rather a DIRECT result of Bobby Wagner PUNCHING the ball out (which the Hawks have shown a propensity for doing under Coach Carroll)

I really don't see how ANYONE could watch that game and feel that the Rams outplayed the Hawks.....

Not taking anything away from Seahawks, but turnovers are mistakes. Without those 3 turnovers and 6 penalties against the Rams, the Seahawks lose. Rams outplayed the Hawks all game but beat themselves

I do think we have a shot.  But my fear is that our resurgent defense has been resurgent against teams that are mostly passing teams.  Of the last 5 games we have played, only New Orleans had a good running attack and they were able to run the ball against us.  They were just to far down early in the game to utilize the running game much.  Seattle, with Wilson and Lynch, runs the ball better than anyone in the league, and they will test our run defense to a far greater extent than anyone has over our winning streak.
