Who thinks we'll actually beat Seattle on Saturday?

Bottom line is, Seahawks have won last two match ups against us, barely. 13-9 this year and last year was something like 12-7. Hawk fans thinking this is going to be a walk in the park is in for a rude awakening. I predict our defense goes nuts this game and shuts down Russell and co.

contain Wilson

run for  100+ yards

throw accurate passes over 10 yards

make all field goals

no special teams screw ups

Bene and the boys get two picks

Panthers 24 SEA 17

this isn't the team we started with and our rooks have some experience now...imagine if had this team from the beginning of the season

To me it comes down Special Teams.

To win this game we have grind out a defensive game

That means lots of punting and a field position battle. What occured last week will means a loss. Can we solve our horrible special teams?

Yeah nobody seems to be talking about this.

With the personnel matchups we have its looking like special teams and field position will be the deciding factor (unless cam somehow becomes super human and destroys or our defense creates some major turnovers/pick sixes). That's unlikely.

I'm wondering if ron shakes things up a bit and tries someone like fozzy at pr. It would be a major gamble so I doubt it. Our blockers have been terrible, and gano has been shaky.

I think our best bet is some major impact play on either offense or defense. Just one. Cam or luke need to make it happen. These are the playoffs and someone needs to step up. It happens every year for the winning teams.

That was such a great catch.  It is rightfully overshadowed by OBJ's catch in New York, but this is a top five catch this season.  it won't make any lists because we are the Panthers playing the Lions, but it should.

How does he make those grabs but drops the easy ones?

Mind blowing.

Honestly no, I would love it if we did, but if Aaron Rodgers nor Peyton Manning couldn't win there this year, why should I believe we can?

GB allowed SEA to score 36 pts, DEN allowed SEA to score 26. In those two games, Percy Harvin had 142 yards and 73 more on returns and was SEA's leading reciever. He's not with SEA anymore

if we allow SEA to score 26 or more points like GB and DEN did, we'll likely lose: only three teams have scored more than 26 on SEA: Cowboys (30), Chargers (30), Rams (28)...and all 3 of those were games SEA got beat. The other loss for SEA was 20-24 to Chiefs

When we played SEA we only allowed 13 pts

I don't think we win. However, if we do, I'm rubbing it in every fuging Seattle fan I can find. I used to have respect for their fanbase, but they've become so Unclassy. That's not saying we're peaches, but damn, if some of these "lifelong" fans don't get on my nerves.

I've been a fan since 1984 and the 2013-present fans drive me up the damn wall as well.

It wouldn't be as big a deal if they didn't act like complete clowns, but most of these new fans do just that.

Anyway.. if the Panthers win, I'll be here to congratulate you all and take whatever you guys want to throw at me.  :)

As funny as this may sound, I believe that Carolina and Seattle are strangely similar in structure and philosophy.  This being said, I think that the game will come down to turnovers. If we can limit mistakes---particularly those that marked our victory over Arizona---then I believe that we can can win. One thing that I am not necessarily afraid of, but cognizant of, is the fact that Seattle believes in itself because they have been to the mountaintop.  We are going to have to match their belief, or we will not prevail.  When I look at the rosters, I think that we should at least be able to match them if everyone plays to their capabilities.  The one place that I believe that we are truly better is at the position of WR because we have Kelvin Benjamin.  As such, he is going to have to step up (provided that everyone else steps up) and play to his ability to tip the scale.

Because of the similarities between us and the Seahawks, I think it will be a close, low scoring game as history has it. I like our CB's against their WR's. We've been able to hold off their offense every time we've played. I think the problem has been allowing Russell to scramble out of the pocket. If we can: Stop the run, Man up on their WR'S, DT's get pressure up the middle, DE's contain Wilson while our LB'ers clean up. Panthers 13 Seahawks 10

fun fact: Panthers were one of only 4 teams this year to score more than 20 on the Cardinals
