What's up everybody... I've been checking this board out for a while and decided to say hey. Congrats on the big win Saturday! It's been a lot of fun watching Mike play so well and seeing the offensive line really come together. Mike told me Carolina has awesome fans and I definitely see it here! If you want to follow Mike on Twitter his handle is @Mremmers50 and I'm @Tesslersports. If you have any questions just post them in this thread and I'll check back soon. Brett

Awesome to have you post here! Carolina is like no other place. I'm sure Mike is seeing that. I hope he continues to thrive and stays home here in Panthers country. Best of luck to you both!

Remmers has been a blessing this year can't see us in the playoffs had he not stepped in to help our formerly struggling o line

Tell Mike to sell out for the rest of the playoffs. Treat every game like it is your last chance at your dream. This season the Panthers coaches and players have experienced more important life impacting events. It puts the game into perspective, and teaches all to value every moment you have to live your dreams and make everyone around you better.

With that outlook the Carolina Panthers will be making history every week throughout the playoffs.

Treat this as your last chance!!!

Thank Mike for everything. He is a big piece of this great experience.

Mike is awesome. Glad to have him. Welcome.

Please tell Mike thank you from us. His signing and play at RT was a big part of our offensive line turning things around. So far, he's been a fantastic get for Carolina.

Hopefully we hook him up enough for him to move out of the hotel.

tell mike hello and that he has our support! hopefully he has found a long term home here.

We are just as excited about things working out for him as we are that he has been a great find for the Panthers. He has filled a big hole and done so very well.  It is hard to believe he has been here only a short time.  He has build considerable chemistry in a short period of time. A big reason the O line has turned things around.

Tell Mike he's been a godsend at RT and to keep pounding!!!

Glad he's with us. Has been a big part of the offensive line turn around.

I hope you can express to Mike how pleased we are with his play.  We have a lot of trust in him and I know that he will continue to do a great job for the Panthers.  Keep Pounding

Gotta like Panthers RT Mike Remmer and the way he's been playing. I would love to see us extend his contract and lock him in long term..

Thanks for the kind words about the job Mike is doing... I will definitely pass along your sentiments!

Mike has been dropped from various teams. What made his stay at Carolina different and so successful? Good scheme? He just finally clicked? Or just never had the opportunity in the first place?

All of the above! He's always had the ability, but unfortunately too many teams get caught up in draft status, measurables, and things like that. Kudos to the Panthers front office and coaches for doing a great job with him.

The team that had Sam Mills as both a player and a coach knows measurables aren't everything.

Our GM has a sharp eye.

Our GM has a sharp eye.

Wish I could agree, but I highly doubt this was Gettleman or the scouting department.

I believe Mike Remmers came to us from our frustrated OL leader Ryan Kalil going to the coaches and GM and whispering sweet nothings in their ears about this young OT who a little birdie named Matt Kalil told him about.

But I could be wrong.
