DeAngelo Williams vs Frank Alexander

Pressly or however you spell it would be my choice to sit on the sideline in a hoodie. I havent seen him play a single snap and if philly is out webb can take any snaps that are available to be given out to that spot as it's highly unlikely we would need our 3rd string qb and webb plays well on ST

There has to a way to give both game day jerseys. Sit a OLmen, vel or cave man. Both are the same C/OG. Or a even a DB, theres room there too. The problem is STs, which are already super weak. If both are active it hurts the ST.

I hope ted ginn comes back after he's cut.

Whatever happens I think keeping Bersin back there is a fatal mistake. He was scared lifeless vs. Arizona and Seattle is even more tenacious and aggressive, especially in their house. He's just not confident enough for me against a team as good as Sea.

Yeah, let's deactivate a veteran leader in favor of a guy who screwed the team over by being suspended all year. Great idea!

I mean, seriously, DeAngelo at least has the potential for a big run or something. At best, Alexander is our 4th guy at defensive end (behind Charles Johnson, Mario Addison, and Wes Horton). He doesn't really offer a lot of incentive here.

Jeez thats tough. Im more on the Hill vs DLo instead. Put Phili and Hill in with the Dickson Olsen set. All that speed will create all kinds of problems.

Philly hurt means slow Bersin plays. I dont care if Hill is dumb, just give him his 3 college routes to run, duhhh.

As a side note, im wanting Benji to stake his reemergence flag against a team he did very well against this season.

    • This is a major, major issue, an unintended one, that the league and NFLPA has to deal with. If not, some day you'll see a QB taking 60% of a team's salary cap get matadored by their underpaid linemen to provoke a career ending injury, or worse yet, a Teddy Bridgewater training camp incident done on purpose. Think it won't happen? Remember that the Saints' bountygate issue was just for a couple of thousand dollars to severely injure an opposing player. Imagine if there were millions to be divvied out amongst a team?
    • Can you imagine though?  If the lower paid guys did that the QB's would simply sit out and ride out their ridiculous contracts.  These guys won't take a reasonable pay cut now to win championships.  No way they will take a 50% cut without a huge fight.
    • If it ain't broke don't fix it. Start capping contracts and having an elite franchise QB becomes an even bigger competitive advantage than it already is.
