Let's review some history shall we?

2008-- stomped by Arizona 33-13 at home (Delhomme's implosion)

2014--REVENGE!

2005-- NFC Championship game we got stomped by Seattle with 0 RBs 34-14

2014-- TBD

1996-- NFC championship game lost to GB 30-13 (spoiled our 2nd season surprise)

2014-- TBD

Last but certainly not least..........

2003-- Super Bowl XXXVIII lost to (the team that shall not be mentioned) 32-29 (heartbreaking fashion)

2014-- TBD

Now that I've refreshed everyone's minds on the quick history lesson, the table is set. We're hungry and as Cam said, we're not satisfied yet. We need 3 more wins, and if the chips fall right we can avenge every single backbreaking loss in our Franchise's history enroute to hoisting our FIRST Lombardi!

As always, it's one week at a time, but I can't help but get excited for the potential to run the table and make some more history. The only thing better than hoisting that trophy will be completely shiiting on the media and the League for all the negative press on us throughout the season, and especially how shiity the NFC South was. The irony of it all will be too much and I think ESPN would go off the air for at least 48 hours.

As I sip this beer late in the evening or early in the am, I ponder what could be a reality in a few short weeks. It would mean winning at Seattle and then either GB or Dallas. Then, we'd play for all the marbles in AZ. This year has the potential of something über special happening. So, I raise my beer and I salute and cheers each and every one of you!

Let's go get what should have been ours years ago!

If this were to happen it would be the biggest miracle in the history of sports by a long shot. 3-8-1, lost so many guys in the offseason, 6 game losing streak, Cam injured all season then has a near-death car accident then needing a Saint loss to the Falcons and winning out, somehow making the playoffs at 7-8-1 then avenging all those losses in one postseason that we got in at 7-8-1 and winning the Super Bowl. Holy poo. my life would be fulfilled if this were to happen.

Now add that our coach had a house fire. Building up to a season of adversity.

If the Cowboys got their fix we definitely deserve ours for this storyline, don't see Goodell passing this up! :P
