Hilarious post on Hawks message board...

No way this is a double digit win....we are scoring 27 a game over the past 6.

Not to mention that our defense is giving up under 13 a game for the past 6 games.....and your offense is struggling to score TD's with 3 of the past 6 home games only garnering one....and two games with 2 TD's.

Offensive juggarnaut the Seahawks are NOT.

You just showed your true homer self thinking a 14 pt win.

Those are also games against division foes that know the Seahawks inside and out.  I mean yes, the Panthers have seen this same team the last three years so they have some familiarity with them.. but division games are almost always dog fights (unless you play the crappy Falcons)

The Seahawks averaged 24 PPG and gave up 15.  Over the last 6 games though they have given up 6.5 a game and two offensive touchdowns - one of which came after a dropped snap on a punt against the Eagles deep inside their own territory.

So basically.. the Panthers are not coming close to that 27 point mark.  And I never said the Seahawks are an offensive juggernaut, but their defense and special teams definitely give the offense short fields to work with to help that cause.

generally knowledgable guys over at seahawks.net, although i'm getting an aneurysm from looking at that blue background. naturally there's tons of bandwagoners with predictable signup dates like november 2013, and on cue they're always the loudest and most obnoxious. i've always liked the seahawks so i've been polite… and there's no doubt we're the underdogs.

one guy is convinced i'm a phillyb that hates him from automotive forums. who uses automotive forums? who gets in feuds on automotive forums? do you bitch at each other about what battery kicks the most ass?

I used to hang out on an automotive forum.

You'd be amazed how quickly a conversation about the merits of carburetors vs. fuel injection could resemble a huddle Luck vs. Newton thread.

Wait wait..

You have Luck v. Newton threads?

We have Luck v. Wilson threads every other day.  I'm happy other fan bases can know this pain.

Panthers - Seattle week 8. Our o-line and secondary were terrible at the time. The team was terrible. 2nd quarter. Kelvin drops an easy TD pass from Cam. Then Cam fumbles the ball on an easy read option handoff, Seattle recovers. 3rd quarter. Cam is being tackled and foolishly decides to flip the ball away and it's barely intercepted. Even with these bloopers, and with a much worse team then the one we have now, Seattle barely won 13 - 9.

No one can predict what's going to happen on Saturday, but if we look at the information we have available and apply logic we should expect a close low scoring game. 20 - 6 is not what I'm expecting. If we can pin Wilson in the pocket (ever time the needed a big first down he ran for it) then Seattle will be lucky to score 13 points imo.

Makes me think the media dickslobbery of Luck (who I'm actually a fan of...go Cardinal!) annoys the poo out of every fanbase so we all have to compare our guy to him. Lol that's funny.

By the way, if we outgain Seattle, we will win the game. The last 5 games we have outgained the opponent and in all except one game won convincingly. I don't see that changing. Feed Stew between the tackles to open up quick drop play action pass plays from under center where Cam is most effective as a passer. Expect Olsen to be used as a decoy to force the single high safety to make a choice on who to cover if Philly is a go.

Never said they were.

But, the Panthers have a good shot at the upset because it will be low scoring and it will be a close game.

Keep posting.....doubt we will see you back after the game to eat your crow.  I expect you to be changing jerseys again to pull for an AFC team in the SB.
