Not exactly. Usually there are some neat story lines and they push those teams in. Patriots after 911. Saints a bit after Katrina. Harbaugh vs harbaugh. Defense vs offense last year. This year they may go for most popular team since no big story lines. There are tons of playoff evidence over the last decade.

Difference is the way the play was perceived.

It's a really grey area but essentially the ball was uncatchable because the ball would have had to gone through Robert Lester.

Man watching these Lions are like watching the Panthers. The way in our 20 year history we seem to always try and do everything in our power to lose a game. Eerily similar.
