Pulling for Lions over Dallas

I'd rather play GB. We've seen time and time again in the playoffs that a dominant defense can beat a dominant offense.

When we played them earlier in the year we didn't have a dominant defense, in fact we were playing like we were bottom five. At the time GB was riding high, but as of late they've cooled and we've caught fire. You know the only team that's been hot as us coming into the playoffs, Seattle.

Seattle does what we do except a little better and more consistently, and this time they have home field. I'd rather take my chances against a team that has a different philosophy. That being said I get the feeling our team what's another shot at the Seahwaks. Anf if we do get them then I look for in to be similar to the 10-9 game against the 49ers last year.

This seems like a moot point to me. We have to beat 2 of the three remaining teams no matter what. We are in the tournament to win the tournament. This isn't about "well maybe we can squeeze into the next round".

My perfect scenario is Dallas beating Detroit because someone has to beat GB and I think Dallas has a better chance than us. Then once we take care of Seattle, we play in Dallas for the NFCCG.

Sounds like a plan but one problem. If we play the Cowboys we won't get a single call.

Dallas is laying an egg, starting to look like we playing Green Bay.

I'm on board with going to Green Bay so i'll pull for Detroit.  Also would love to keep the chance of a home NFCCG alive for one more week.

 

Buffalo put the blue print out a couple weeks ago.  Ball Control and Get Rodgers off his spot and you can beat the pack.  Granted that was at Buffalo, but that blue print is exactly what this team is excelling at right now.  Not to mention, our secondary is light years better than it was when we played them, and we have also figured out our run defense a bit.  Add in a banged up Rodgers who hopefully we can put some licks on and I think we could have a small shot.

GB will be hard but like it's been said before to get to the promise land would be through Green Bay anyways, we might as well get it down now than later.

And it ain't just.because I hate Dallas... If the Lions win out, and the Panthers win out, we h ost another playoff game. So here's hoping that Suh and Co dominate and destroy those freaking Cowbells
