If it wasn't for that mess up and cams INT throw,AZ would have had a big fat goose egg!Their QB/offense was horrid but we(Panthers) made them look competitive(score) through a good portion of the game!Seattle would crush us if our special teams and even if our offense played like it did last night!

As someone stated it really pissed me off last night (as I've probably said for the 3rd time) because we don't ask for much of him.

 

Bersin's role is to basically fair catch. Or if there is good opportunity, take the ball straight up north with no fanciness involved.

 

Philly Brown, Joe Adams and Ted Ginn were all dynamic returners so I can see why they would be more prone to a mistake. 

 

Bersin legitimately has ONE JOB, where no one would be mad at him for taking the safe way out.

I think he will learn quick from his mistakes last night, and be better next week.  I think the Panthers are better off coaching him up and tweaking his mechanics and mental game in one week versus putting PR on a new guy right now.

He most certainly needs to be replaced, or at least COACHED by someone other than Richard fuging Rogers.  Why hasn't he been told to GET THE fug OUT OF THE WAY if you're not going to catch it?!  Why did he RUN UP to the ball on at least the first three punts and DAMN fuging NEAR turn the ball over numerous times?!!?  I was yelling on every punt up to and including the turnover to get the fug away from the ball.  I don't hate Bersin for it.  That's on Rogers (and by extension, Rivera).  Someone needs to do their gd job and coach that poo out of the kid.

Yes but it is both Rogers and Bersins fault,even 11 year old kids know not to try and get the ball when surrounded by opposing players on punt returns!

Really,everybody complaining about Bersin last night had legitimate reasons to be pissed,he was constantly screwing up on the punt returns!

Outside of a few, I think the whole KR/PR field across the league is a little dry right now.  

 

Sproles and Hester are still kicking but old.  De'Anthony and Tavon are the new guns in the league but there's not much.  Micah Hyde is a hidden gem in GB.  

I just want competence back there so I think right now that would involve 11 men trying to block a punt.

He has caught everything this season. So your point is invalid. He has only gone down to his knee a few times to secure a catch. Whatever it takes. It's a fair catch anyways, so why does it matter? He is better than anyone else we have tried back there so just fuging deal with it.

bersin isn't a threat to house it every time he touches the ball + he seemingly thinks he's playing baseball when he's on punt return duty.  not good.

 

Seemed to me he was playing soccer on punt return duty",look Mom,no hands"!Or you could say he was playing a hockey goalie,blocking shots!
