I'd be okay with trying Godfrey at corner and Martin at safety, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I started thinking I'd like to see Dante Wesley at safety back duiring his first stint with the team. No one gave that any thought till lately, so I wouldn't expect quick action - or any action - on that anytime soon.

A broken hand means that he will only have to play for about 3 weeks or so into the season.

The defensive tackle problem will be more significant though.

When Arizona was playing 4-wide I think they put Godfrey in at CB instead of Wesley, and brought Salley in at S. Maybe he (Wesley) got hurt but I think it was just because he wasn't doing much in the way of covering...

you mean at this point in the year....before tons of guys get cut here shortly? There will be plenty of guys avaliable that can produce most likely better than Godfrey did to plug in for a season.

to think that KK is anything other than a body to take a beating for the moment is a bit much at this point.
