So on the Carolina/Arizona prediction page on ESPN this sentence appears:

 

 

 

But there's something about how improved Ryan Lindley looked that leads me to believe the defense will figure out a way to slow Carolina's Cam Newton enough to make a difference.

 

What does improvement by a QB have to do with the defense stopping the other team?

doesn't put D in as bad of situations, doesn't put them on the field as long....

 

O impacts  a defenses ability to keep points off the board

When has Lindley look improved? Are they saying that because he actually has some yardage and a few TDs last game they played? He also had 3 picks and should have easily had 2 possibly 3 more. Dude is fuging trash...we have recently dominated Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. Sorry if Ryan Lindley doesn't have me shaking in my fuging boots.

He played a good first half last week....if he can do that for a full game AZ should feel pretty confident

Let's see..........ESPN has one NFL playoff game in a group of them that normally carries top ratings.................and as far as the nation is concerned they have weakest line up.............a 7-8-1 team verses a team with a 3rd string QB..............

 

But perception is reality and for them as a business they have to build this into a contest worth watching for national ratings..........so they say something that tries to even out this game.

 

Folks I got news for you.............

 

Look for this to be another bird slaughter like we did to the Falcons.......this QB they have will be lucky to finish the game.........I doubt they score more than 10 pts at best...................look for Panthers to put up 24 or more.......

This ain't the Falcons D....and they matchup well. They can man up the WRs and just bring the sink at everything else

Did we put up tons of points with Johnny football playing? He is a much worse QB than the AZ QB.

      I have really enjoyed laughing at the Panthers beating the Chiefs memes.  I mean, it's been in good fun.  Bye week is a great time to be completely unreasonable. The Chiefs played pretty poorly against the Bills.  This is a heck of a get right game for them.  I have a feeling they are going to come out hard against a weaker team.  I think the D can be feisty, but will probably get smoked.  On O...  Yeah...  This is not going to look great. This team is 9-1, coached by an all timer, has a generational QB, and a propensity to find ways to win.  It's going to be ugly.   As far as trotting out Andy, does that help Bryce develop?  Does that help the team develop?  It's not about winning at this point (unless by some miracle/any-given-Sunday we win, then things get interesting).
