this place started as a result of the defection from the charlotte observer forums years ago. i joined in '05 and it was a couple years old at that point, iirc. most of the original members came from there.

Back in the day the SFGate, the Frisco rag used to have a 49er forum.

My username I kid you not was Sorry, Joe Montana is too old to come back .

I trolled those fuggers like you cannot believe, had one idiot threaten to come to SoCal and kick my arse.

NFL.com used to have a good forum back in the day too before the Lawyers got involved.

Was on the old Observer board and the original panthers.com board. Found this place through Google right after our Super Bowl run. It was all different, a lot more football talk, less "black helmet" talk. Have hung in through all the crashed servers - errrrr worn out rodent wheels. Frequented pantherpride.com too. Met good people from there, still friends with a few.
