you're right. Since 2003 it's been as if every other position was up for debate except one. Delhomme is our best chance to win, but he's not going to play forever. I just wonder if the panthers are going to suffer a mass exodus of fans once Jake leaves the same way the Falcon's suffered an exodus when their criminal was put in jail. Some days on the huddle it honestly appears that there is a deeper focus by the fans onto Delhomme that there is onto the team. Thankfully Delhomme has never bought into this hype the way the player-fans have. If he screws up he has always been the first to admit it.

which is a major reason why I've always liked Jake. He is accountable and never throws a player under the bus. He's an unquestioned leader.

He can be a hinderance to this team as well as a savior. I have no doubt in my mind that Jake Delhomme can be the QB of this team when they hoist a lombardi trophy, just like I have no doubt that he can throw three picks in a home playoff loss and cost us a playoff game.

I don't think the jake love has reached the point of the vick love but it is pretty strong.

yeah he did, but i still like jake better overall. both eli and jake have the flaky factor to some degree, but i think jake plays with more fire. i love it.

05 NFCCG aside, jake looks like an absolute beast in playoff games.

i hope ur right i hope he takes us to and wins the super bowl.....i like the fire he plays with to, but sometimes its just to much, when he throws a pick and acts like it was someones fault that he threw it...but jakes career in the playoffs has been a good one.....

Since when DID he make that throw? Even before Tommy John he wasn't able to do that. He hasn't ever been the guy to throw the ball on the money every time, he just chucks it up. Plus, Steve prides himself on not getting overthrown.

This is by far the most un-researched, un-appreciative thread for our QB that I've read.

Haha...That's funny. I just get irritated with these threads about replacing Jake. The post count is a moot point. But the way the thread was introduced, it just seemed like it came out of left field and was redundant.
