jeremy has unleashed info in the all-pro section that constructs an entirely new lens through which to view deangelo williams and the persona that he's crafted for himself. suddenly a lot of the things he posts make a lot more sense with that knowledge, and i admit it's been a while since i've been able to call myself a fan of the guy or the stuff he posts… a marked descent for a guy who was in my top three favorite panthers not so long ago.

He is an athlete.  He wants to be in the game.  He shares himself with the public and he is a nut--fun guy.  His mother just died, and he was very close to his mother--not that should make a difference to a public figure, but take it easy on the guy. 

 

I want Stewart running the ball too, but I don't forget what DWill has done for this franchise and I think he is owed more respect.  Probably some classless asshat working third shift at waffle house who just got his first smart phone.

Thankfully no.  Most people want to see him run behind a line that actually blocks, then if he sucks thanks for your contribution. Lots of people think Dwill would be able to contribute with an NFL quality line.  Not whatever kind of line that was out there prior. But you know it's hard to stop the rabble once the torches are lit and the pitchforks are all sharpened.  Once they get like this they will not let it go, unless that person has a good game then they STFU until next game.  Or say something like " I always have said I like him, but ..."  excuse.   After Sunday, all the usual suspects  except  Deangelo weren't available.

 

Shula = game got out of hand so fast nothing really for them to whine about.

Dwill = in progress

Bell = had a miscue or 2 but Cam covered it up by being Cam, other than that fairly solid game.

Godfrey = N/A

Fua = N/A

Ron Rivera = We destroyed the falcons in the Dome.  They can only whine about him not saying Dwill is never gonna touch the ball again.

 

"Honorable Mention " Kelvin Benjamin. and his drops (even though Steve Smith has just as many and he is a veteran..shhhhhhh don't mention that).

I have said numerous times. I don't get caught up in players. Like prior to last season when I warned 89 was potentially looking at his last season bc another dip and play and the franchise wouldnt think his poo was worth putting up with......that stance got me labeled an 89 hater.
