DeAngelo has become borderline annoying on social media.

technically he's right in saying he adds another dimension to our offense, we don't have anyone else on the roster that will run into the back of an OLineman and fall down

Don't be that mean, I bet you will kiss his ass once he rushes for 100+ yards against the damn Cardinals.

I pretty much agree with the first few paragraphs.

However, how do you (or I) know it's not (or is) just the OL? Speed backs really rely on their OL, we're seeing that in Dallas this year. Stewart is make something out of nothing due to his strength. Williams literally rely's on the OL to hold their blocks just long enough so he can get to the first level. The only way to find out if it's the OL is to give D-Will a few carries. That doesn't mean he starts and gets the majority of the carries. That means he gets 20 or 30 percent of the carries as a change of pace back to Stewart. There's no harm in that. Literally none.

The only thing I would like to point out is that you're not giving Tolbert's role to Williams, your giving his carries to Williams. I was telling Rum that 21 personnel would work great with those two because Tolbert can still be used as the primary blocker and can also be threat out of the backfield as where Williams can be the primary "running back" if you will; in this particular personnel group.

Demarco Murray has been a great runner for years. Injury and fumbling have been bigger issues in the past than the run blocking for him. Media just won't stop talking about Dallas OL.

There is no need to even test the question with Williams. We already know we was on a steady decline so whatever change the OL may make won't make him good again.

They are managing Tolbert poorly....but don't forget he is a 30 yr old RB too. He isn't suppose to good....he is suppose to start becoming a old and meh player

You don't need to keep wishing 30yr old RBs can defy the decline they are suppose to see when you actually have younger talent that can play....you just play the young guys and move on. Only in case of injury would all these Williams wishes need to be taking place....THEN they would be more reasonable IMO
