Kelvin Benjamin continues drops in Practice

Yes he had 1k yards and 9 TDs as a rookie. Yes that's awesome. Yes I'm glad we have him.

But dropping passes is the absolute LAST thing a WR should be doing. That has nothing to do with him being a rookie. Nothing at all. People using that as an excuse are so far up his ass it's stupid.

Things I can accept a rookie doing:

Run the wrong routes

Not finish his routes

Stupid penalties

Missed assignments

Missed Blocks

Dropping passes is not on that list. He needs to get that poo together. It's playoff time.

i don't like the dropped passes anymore then anyone but dude has still had a great year and is a rookie, so stfu

We knew he was raw. That was his knock coming in. We knew we were drafting a raw WR and that it is going to take a season or two to get him were he is perfect on everything. Despite his rawness he still put up those numbers.

I'm a glass half full kinda guy naturally so I see these easy drops and I get excited because his stats are gonna be that much bigger when we fix all that. He's left atleast 3 tds and a hundred yards on the field. When that gets corrected he's gonna be big time.

Balls are dropped in every practice.

Good lord.

No coach would tell you its normal to drop balls in practice. Of course they trust them to make them come game time but they are still concerned when you drop them. I was pissed whenever i would drop a ball in practice. And it wasnt every day.

To further prove my point check out Steve Smiths first 3 seasons.

Greatest Panther of all time and one of the 5 best WRs of the last 15 years. KB's rookie season was better then smiths first two combined. And for the 3rd regular season you could say they are comparable(smith was legend in the '03 playoffs so no comparison there)

That's really not fair to Steve. He came into the league under different circumstances. He didn't get as many opportunities as he should have.

Kelvin is good in his own right but you cannot compare Steve to Kelvin. Only contrast.
