Kelvin Benjamin continues drops in Practice

Yeah the drop in Atlanta was bad, but it didn't come at a crucial time with the game on the line or it wasn't the difference in the ball game.

He's a rookie so yes, he's going to drop his fair share of balls.

But we're in the playoffs now. Everyone has to turn it up a notch and play at a high level.

If he makes a few crucial drops against Arizona ... I'm sorry to say, but it could be the difference between us packing it in or us advancing to the next round.

cant judge him on the next game for what happened in the last game.

I think there is a huge issue of lack of understanding about NFL rookie WR's on here.

most of the time it's considered a good year for a rookie if you get 7-800 yards and 5 TD's. KB is over 1000yrds and 9tds he's had a great rookie year, that's right not a good one but a great one. If you told me that would be his year before it started I would be ecstatic with excitement.

He's a rookie, he might not hit his peak for another two seasons, and yeah the drops are killer but he's still had a great year.

Yes he had 1k yards and 9 TDs as a rookie. Yes that's awesome. Yes I'm glad we have him.

But dropping passes is the absolute LAST thing a WR should be doing. That has nothing to do with him being a rookie. Nothing at all. People using that as an excuse are so far up his ass it's stupid.

Things I can accept a rookie doing:

Run the wrong routes

Not finish his routes

Stupid penalties

Missed assignments

Missed Blocks

Dropping passes is not on that list. He needs to get that poo together. It's playoff time.

not really sure why not? everyone is judging D-Will possibly starting over J-Stew b/c of his past performance prior to his injury.

because we knew going in KB had these issues he has done well for the season so you play him and let the chips fall where they may. if we had a "stewart' answer to KB then there may be more of an issue but we don't.

To further prove my point check out Steve Smiths first 3 seasons.

Greatest Panther of all time and one of the 5 best WRs of the last 15 years. KB's rookie season was better then smiths first two combined. And for the 3rd regular season you could say they are comparable(smith was legend in the '03 playoffs so no comparison there)
