ESPN First Take: Panthers to beat Cardinals

Thing is, against Seattle we match up better with them than any other team in the NFC. Their defense is built to stop the pass and our offense is built around the run. Their offense is built completely around the run and ours is built to stop the run and apply pressure on the QB. Fortunately Norman and Bene have been showing out so I'm not worried about them throwing on us at all. And Luke and TD have Marshawn's number every time we play him so I'm not worried about him. And I think we have the ability to stop Wilson from running. Everyone thinks we'd get blown out by Seattle if we play them but that just won't happen. It will end up being close and it'll come down to just a few plays. We were so damn close to beating them earlier this year but our o-line fell apart and our D fell apart for just 1 series. We'll have troubles scoring on them but if we can get Stew going and open things up for Olsen (they have troubles stopping TEs) then I think we could put up enough points to win the game. If we can get past the Cardinals and if the Cowboys win then the Panthers-Seahawks matchup would have the makings of one of the best playoff games in a while.

Our front four has got to bring it this week, I think that's what will make all the difference.  Star and Short busting up the middle and CJ, Ealy, and the boys collapsing the edges.  Sets up Luke to dominate the middle of the field TD to headhunt.  I want to crush the Cardinals like nobody's business - never forget Arizona!

Too early to tell but I hope your family member is correct on this. Panthers beat the America's team could be real great lol.
