I like Bersin as a fourth receiver, and I'm even okay with him on kick retutns, but not so much as a punt return man.

he catches it and doesn't fumble it even when getting hit hard. That's all we need. We can worry about getting a legit punt returner in the off season. Give Cam a chance on offense is all we need right now

i am in love with Benji like everyone else, but i am still not convinced that he is a long-term #1. he has too many mental lapses, doesnt get out of his breaks quickly enough to create space, and has been very inconsistent in his ability to break away with sheer speed. a true number 1 wouldnt struggle with those things. i am willing to be patient with him, since he is  a rook. but i also think it wouldnt hurt to draft someone who has good hands and can create space with either agility or speed (preferrably speed)

 

was checking out some draft profiles last week and i like Sammy Coates alot. it seems like he could be that #1, go-to guy

I'm not a homer of any NC college but that Justin Hardy and Jamison Crowder look like possibilities. Crowder is tiny though

Bersin fumbled once. Fortunately someone else on our team recovered it. Philly has fumbled twice in more punt return attempts so I don't see why people think Bersin has better hands back there...

Philly might run for some yards but he also has a huge chance to fumble it as we already saw.

My favorite part about our punt return team is how we have roman harper back as that lead blocker kind of guy. Watch the atlanta game again and notice how every return he was too slow to even get to the gunner before the gunner got to bersin lol

Let's not forget those 2 returns he could have taken to the house, albeit from penalties and a shoestring tackle. I get nervous anytime we line up to return a punt, but if our special teams could block long enough for him not to have to fair catch every single time, we might have had a better showing in the return game this year.
