Bucks @ Hornets 12/29

Omega Atrocity

I'd prefer no timeout and run time off the clock by dribbling up the court. The entire arena knows where the ball is going and who is going to take the shot so they are going to commit extra help to defending Kemba, esp on a set play after a timeout where they have time to get organized.

That's a fair criticism. I would be fine with trying that, our late game sets have been lacking to say the least.

Last season was the first 20-10 season for him since 08-09, on top of that he played better defensively last season because he was hid...check all the analyst and reports on it.

On top of that, he shot slightly better and above .500 for the first time in for ever. He literally played lights out and above his normal play last season.

Once again, if the scheme works then it doesn't matter who the defense is tailored to help. Also by 20-10 guy, I mean he had the ability to put up 20-10 every night he stepped on the court.

And once again (I've said it three times), with Stephenson out Al was replicating his success last year until he got hurt. Let's not act like Stephenson's play didn't effect Al. Just watch the way Henderson and Stephenson play. Henderson feeds the post and Lance dribbles around until the shot clock is at five. If Al can get healthy and Lance buys in they might be able to make it work.

Worst case scenario: it doesn't work, we get a good draft pick, and blow it up in the offseason. Blowing it up now is premature and foolish.

You can slap purple and teal on it but people know the Bobcats when they see it.

I would be fine with that if we didn't look pretty good at times last year. A less talented roster was more competitive, showed more heart and was more fun to watch. This team is atrocious on offense and has no desire to play defense.

I'm just having fun because I called this when we signed him. This same team is going to be here next season and be in the same spot unless they make drastic moves. Him and Kemba = a 7th/8th seed and a one and done in the post season.

If you run the Dwight Howard Orlando system all four other players need to be spot up shooters from 3pt, at the very least 3 of them need to be.

This current team has...none...really that are consistent 3pt shooters and that's why I said this system doesn't work with the pieces the team has on the roster.

Well right now, we might be in great shape as we're trending towards Okafor, Towns, etc...

Al needs to rest now and get healthy while there is still time. The worst possible thing that could happen is that he waits too long to get healthy, the team gels, and we end up with the 14th pick.

It needs to be one or the other.

    • Fair enough. I never once said not supporting Tepper makes you a bad fan by the way. I can't stand the guy myself. You on the other hand don't like anything about the team. You can't stand the owner or the coach because his religion doesn't fall in line with how you feel it should so I'm curious why you are even a fan at this point? Hell, you like nothing about the team, why even be a fan these days?  We can go backs and forth about how many games we have been to and measure dicks if you want or but it doesn't matter. I've been to my fair share over the years. Some as a fan and some work related but I bet you have been to more due to my weekends being filled with some work I do at the collegiate level so I probably only average maybe 2-3 games per year tops. You have me beat there im sure. You are probably very correct on us not being the same in anything at all I am quite sure of that. If I'm a "mark" (as you put it) for not liking Tepper and not caring about Canales religion or his political beliefs or letting it have weight on whether or not I like the team then call me a "mark" but you're still a whiny bitch either way.  When you hate everything about leadership from their personalities to their religious beliefs all the way to who they vote for at that point why even be a fan? I can side with you judging by your beliefs that you have made apparent, if you owned and coached the team, I sure as hell would find a new one to support but as you said we are different. Enjoy Norway, it is a beautiful country. Visited last year myself and absolutely loved it.
    • The playing well part, depends on what happens going forward. It could have been a tease that will dig our hole deeper.  In the small picture of one game, probably his best game. Green Bay wasn't as great as people think it was. More like one good quarter. Followed by two games of exactly nothing.
    • Oh, it was handled horrifically.  Ego got in the way of a plan.  I'm just saying, that he actually probably stumbled into the better outcome/plan.
