i don't even want to imagine us losing to the Cards in BOA. That would be utterly humiliating to lose to a team with a backup QB that is .333 over the last 6 weeks. I would like to see us go to Lambeau and put up a hell of a fight on the frozen tundra. We do that, win or lose, then we can all have realistic hope that we will be a much better team next year than we were this year.

When we put our youth on the field our youth throttled their youth on their field.

the point was that everyone has youth like we do. It doesn't make us special. As for the Aints, they had a lot more youth than us, and they played their youth all year, we didn't. One of the hardest adjustments players cite from college to pro is adjusting to the much longer NFL season. Their youth was pooped, ours was fresh. And that is a positive for us heading into the playoffs. If that was by design, I'd be impressed, but it was because Gettleman and Rivera screwed upsigning and playing guys that weren't near as good as they thought. It is, however, charming that their goofs worked out in our favor.

pretty much anybody could beat the Cards right now. Going head to head with the Packers at Lambeau, that's a tall task for most teams. But if we're a good team now, we should be able to do that like the other good teams.

Shula is so garbage. We scored a few points against losing teams but he's still garbage. It would be a big mistake to retain him. Our offense vs. ATL was not that impressive. Our defense gift wrapped 21 of our 34 points.

We aren't a good team, but hey, we made the playoffs and anything can happen. My guess is we will beat the slumping Cardinals and then get destroyed by an actual good team in the subsequent round. I'd consider that a very successful end to what was looking like an extremely disappointing season. Hopefully we will continue to add depth to the roster, get some better coaches, and improve next year.

so are you sure this is the season you want to proclaim Gettleman a genius? Why not just wait until we are one of the better teams in the league? If/when that happens, you won't have to trip all over yourself trying to make Gettleman look good, we will all already be happy then

are you sure keeping Rivera as our coach is a good idea? And now there are even people coming out praising Shula. Seriously? The guy has been a lousy OC every year he has been an NFL OC, including this year.

well done....this is the difference from Oct/Nov. I love the OL blocking down field and the secondary flying around and the DL putting pressure on the QB...Sure we may be outmatched down the road but we got some MO... and making Matty cry?
