We only beat one team with a winning record this season

as for this "we're a whole new team" paint we're spraying on the pile of poo, we haven't beaten a team with a winning record in the "whole new team" mode, we only beat the god-awful Bucs 19-17 in BOA, only beat the lousy Browns 17-13 in BOA. Yes we stomped the lousy Falcons, but so did the lousy Vikings and the lousy Bears. The Falcons lost their last 6 games except to the lousy Saints and now-lousy Cardinals (.333 win pct over last 6 weeks). And the Falcons also stomped the even more-lousy Saints, who got blown out by everyone the last 4 weeks except for the 5-11 Bears and the 2-14 Bucs (who the Saints only beat by 3)

When we stomp Arizona will you stfu? Or will it be, ''dur we only beat one team with a winning record!"

It doesn't matter who you beat. What is important is that you get the W and have momentum. We've got that poo in spades.

And those awful Bucs beat the Steelers, the awful Raiders and awful Bears BOTH beat the 49ers and the awful Bills beat the Packers. WTF is the point of this?

We went 4-0 down the stretch and can only beat the teams they put in front of us.

I can't think of another sport where how you are playing currently is more important that what you have done..............this is such a physical sport with so many injuries and replacements that you cannot judge a team now based on the last month even........

If you assume the Panthers are a weak team or a pretender based on the stats posted you could make the same case for Arizona winning the SB when lately they are playing as bad as Oakland.................

The lengths folks will go to validate their own opinions boggles the mind sometimes. I genuinely believe there are "fans" that were crestfallen that this team turned things around and began to execute. I take solace in the fact that they are miserable people. Suck it, psudofans!

Considering we are doing it with a poo ton of players playing in their first or second seasons I think it is pretty impressive.

Norwell, Bene, Boston, Klein, Star, Kk, Benji, Philly, etc

...

You should be singing their praises with putting together a playoff team with this much youth.

having that much youth contributing is par for the course. Look at the Saints, who went 7-9 to our 7-8-1 and went 1-1 against us, look how many 1st and 2nd yr players they had:

RB Khiry Robinson (#2 RB)

WR Brandin Cooks (550 yds in 10 gms)

WR Kenny Stills (931 yds)

TE Josh Hill (5 TD)

returner Jalen Saunders (had 99 yd return recently)

LT Terron Armstead (starter)

C Tim Lelito (rotational C with an old vet)

NT John Jenkins (1 sack, 30 tackles)

DE Tyrunn Walker (2.5 sack, 19 tackles)

OLB Kasim Edebali (2 sack, 22 tackles)

SS Kenny Vaccaro (84 tackles, 2 INT)

FS Pierre Warren (named to SI All Rookie Team)

CB Corey White (2 INT, 53 tackles)

CB Brian Dixon (18 tackles)

When we put our youth on the field our youth throttled their youth on their field.

Only Seattle has a winning streak longer than the Panthers coming into the Playoffs (6 straight)

The Panthers, Steelers, and Dallas have each won four straight.  Dallas is being talked about as the hottest team in the league.  Granted, they have beat better competition in the Eagles and the Colts than we have.

We've given up 10.75 pts per game in the last four weeks (second to Seattle, who is giving up 8.25), while scoring 27.75 points per game.

Granted we haven't played anybody, but we did play a solid Cleveland defense and a Falcons and Saints team which controlled their respective paths to the division title.

I wouldn't bet against the panthers right now.
