Falcons would be scary with Rex. Let's hope he goes to the Bears

Steve Raum @ SRaum11 48s

As for Rex Ryan, good for him. The Raiders and Falcons

should be throwing the house at him. Thanks for everything,

Ryan Ratty @RyanRattyNFL 2m

Rex Ryan has emerged as the main candidate for the

#Falcons HC position.

Juice Gawd @Its_MrPerfect 3m

Falcons should hire Rex Ryan and the best offensive

coordinator on the market

Sean Breen @ SeanmBreen 3m

Falcons would be smart to make Rex Ryan their top

target, Rex would finally have a QB for the first time,he can

make that D scary good

Scott Carasik @ScottCarasik 3m

Rex Ryan really would be the best fit for the Falcons.

Born sinner @ _datright2 3m

The Falcons are prolly gonna hire Rex Ryan get that defense

right to go with that offense

Linda Cohn @ lindacohn 50m

Rex Ryan would be a good fit in Atlanta. Falcons in desperate

need of a coach that knows defense. Offense already there

for him.

Steve DelVecchio @ SteveDelSports 1h

Rex Ryan to the Falcons makes a ton of sense. Here’s why:

bit.ly/1z3Bnke

Josh Sánchez @ jnsanchez 1h

Rex Ryan would do really well with the Falcons

Shane-Michael @SMTuchs 1h

Alright @Atlanta_Falcons , Rex Ryan better be at the top of

the list right now.

Scott Dryden @ nfltalentstaff 2h

If Im the #Falcons - I hire Rex Ryan pronto

Erick Trickel @AlaskanBronco 2h

As soon as Mike Smith is fired, Falcons should be calling Rex

Ryan . Great fit

etc

etc

etc

I'm down for replacing a 10 win coach with a 7 win coach who cares nothing for offense. Love to watch Jones and White get replaced by joes and everyone say Matt Ryan lost it.

Rex is as good as his record says he is, right?

Remember, when he went to the Jets he raided his Baltimore defense and brought some key players with him to instill toughness and leadership.  He set up Sanchez as the QB and rode the running game and defense to two winning records before settling in to four seasons of less-than-mediocre performance.

The guy can motivate, but the whole "Make a big initial splash and then descend into failure" thing runs in the family.  I would LOVE to see him in Atlanta.

They had a search firm for a HC in place before the game, and THAT was the last straw? I don't buy it...

Arthur Blank is too impatient, and that's going to be good news for us as rivals. He just fired a guy who averaged over 10 wins a game in his first five years because of two losing seasons, without looking at the GM for not bringing in OL talent. Dumb, IMHO. :)

They had regular season success, but his teams folded year in and year out when the chips were down. I don't blame Blank for firing him.
