Likelihood of Stanton playing?

I know I saw last week that it appeared the cardinals 2nd string guy had a setback having to have his knee scoped out, but also saw Arians said he was "on track" today. So what do you think the likelihood is that we see him Saturday? I know thats a short 5 days away and he hasnt practiced at all, not to mention a travel day for that basically West Coast team. My gut feeling is that Arians is blowing smoke and the guy would not be ready for this weekend. Thoughts?

Yeah... I think it's just a smokescreen. Oh and to clarify things, it's a bacterial infection that is keeping him from playing.

If it makes you feel any better, the QB at the college I attend also got an infection in his leg from a cut and ended up missing two and a half weeks (two games and a few practices).

I would imagine his knee is swollen from the infection. I think we're going to beat AZ either way, but I'd rather face their worst QB.

As long as they don't sign Kurt Warner I'm happy with either of those bozos.
