Playoff Experience...

How much will last year's playoff experience play into this game? Remember, Cam even admitted last year that the playoffs were a whole different animal and that the speed was a whole lot faster. Most of the team last year is still intact and know how it felt to lose last year to the 69ers. So, with last year's playoff experience, do you think we will come out more disciplined and aggressive against the Cards Saturday opposed to last year?

And what better way than to play our first playoff game against a team with a 9th string QB?

Man, I'm trying to hold it in, but I have a feeling about this game. That playoff experience last year is going to really help Cam and I think he is going to be more calm and aggressive. Can't wait!

Experience is nice. But being good. Playing well, planning well. That is the stuff that matters. Those personal fouls didn't cost us the game. Not being able to make a yard from the 1 yard line cost us the game. Blown coverages and bad run fits cost us the game. And let's not forget bad refereeing.

Don't even bring up those refs man. I'm still not over the rigged sh*t they displayed in that game.

This is another main reason I've been hoping we make the playoffs for the past couple months, despite the ups and downs, mainly downs. A lot wanted a high draft pick and Rivera gone, etc. but regardless of what happens these playoffs, this experience is huge for our young guys. Not only the rookies but even guys like Cam and Olsen who don't have much playoff experience. Whether we lose against the Cards or the week after, or make the Super Bowl, this experience is huge in the development of our players and team. Teams like the Patriots are so successful because they're in the playoffs every year so all their players have that experience and mindset which then carries into the regular season.

Perfectly stated! My exact thoughts. This was a HUGE step forward to turning this franchise into a winner. Yeah, we are going into the playoffs with a losing record, but the main thing is we made it and are back to back NFC South champs for the first time ever. Huge step forward!
