Praise for Bene

Bored silly as I sit here and watch the Steelers take apart the Red Rocket who now has more Int's than TD's on the season.

Anyway I stumbled upon the PFF match up for today's game. While they failed to mention Norman they did bring up Bene in this nice blurb.

This just makes me even more excited for the future. I didn't realize he'd been this good.

He's been playing well. The offenses in the playoffs should pose a stiffer challenge for him.

good insight. yeah he's a good corner because we never see him. we see josh norman a little too much sometimes but you gotta love the future of this duo. I hope they become the most dynamic tandem in the nfl... but i am a homer.

Bene and Norman shut down both White and Jones. I also thought Colin Jones did a great job at the Nickel spot.

Think about it this way. They are so worried about Norman they never see Bene coming. He is like Batman.

I stated he could be playing better than norman, when everyone was fluffing josh. He plays like a vet and has great change of direction/ closing speed. Go back and look at the CBs drafted around bene........ a huge funny falcons drafted a CB right before bene .... whom they cut for the 53 roster after TC. Hahaha

I have blasted Gettleman over the franchise tag for Hardy, but I have to admit the guy can spot talent. Trading up for Bene was a master stroke. He is a legit corner as a rookie. 

 

Between him and Norman, it looks like we are strong at the first two CB spots. Who would have thought it going into the year?

I like the way both of our CB play, they both can tackle and make a play on the ball.
