Halfway through preseason, what's your depth chart looking like?

I notice some of you have cut McCown, but no one has cut King. Here are the cuts for cap room that I see as a possibility (in order of likelyhood).

1. Salley (700k cap net)

2. King (1.1M cap net) (keeping Davie as #3 TE, inactive on gameday unless there is an injury)

3. Anderson (700k cap net)

4. McCown (1.35 cap net for cut, restructure to vet min would yield approx 800k) (I think a restructure is more likely in his case, his current contract is 1.7M, Moore is 460k FYI)

Cap numbers are approximate.

I see King and Salley as very possible cuts if we need cap money. Anderson is playing his azz off and McCown is the only proven backup QB. Of course, what he has proven in his previous starts is open for debate.

It kinda sucks to be King right now, as I don't think Barnidge has outplayed him at all, just been given the opportunity to show he can do the same job about as well as King, only cheaper.

Bryonez, you left off Jason Baker. :)

I think it's smart to look at the cap numbers, especially if the FO wants to sign a veteran DT. Salley's bound to be history. McCown, depends on Moore and Cantwell. If Moore plays well then McCown could be in trouble. Anderson, maybe. There's a case for cutting him but he's playing very well in preseason--well enough that he could be the rare player trade fodder. As for King, I never even thought of that but it makes a little sense. Certainly worth watching. :)

1. Yeah, cutting Salley is a great idea, Dante Wesley can move over to Safety.

2. Right now, King is not worth the money so I like the idea of cutting him.

3. Terrible idea, Anderson has shown some promise.

4. Yeah, restructure McCown, cut Moore, keep Cantwell.

there is no way anderson is getting cut. After the game against miami, I think a case could be made for him starting over diggs.

Munnerylin has looked decent on run coverage, but he has been outplayed by almost every receiver on pass plays. He will stick, but he hasn't impressed me on defense. At least he is showing some flashes on special teams, which is more than we can say for sherrod martin. I don't know if he is playing any on st, but come to think of it, if you're not looking for him on defense you wouldn't notice him there either.

Also, this has been established, but I just want to say that Hayden is trash and hopefully he will not see the field once the regular season starts.
