yeah he's not really the star. i guess you'd consider the German Colonel the star. he's an outstanding actor. the first scene is just awesome.

it's on the net...but from what I've read, in a very crappy cam version. should be worth going out to see though. dunno when we'd get a chance though as we don't really have any babysitters around. best chance would be to go visit relatives and dump the kid with them for a couple hours.

BTW - Did ya see that the daughter of one of the real basterds wasn't too happy with Tarantino's vision? Talking about how her father would not be pleased. Think she's taking it a little too seriously....no one views a Tarantino movie like it's a historical documentary.

I like what Q said his thinking was. To the guys in the film they had NO clue the history nor the outcome.
