Cliff took a 21-61 team to the playoffs. He gets a ton more benefit of the doubt than a guy who gives zero effort to defending the rim.

We got in last year in a very weak East, then Clifford's team was promptly embarrassed out of the playoffs.

This section is pretty much becoming as bad as the Panthers section.

No red, I don't drink. I'm just tired of AL's liabilities out weighing his contributions this year. He hasn't been nearly as good offensively as he was last season and he may have even gotten worse defensively.

As far as tonight, he only has 14 points, has taken a couple of horrible shots while Kemba was hot, and then basically took 2 points from us by tipping the ball while it was still in the cylinder.

I just think we reached our ceiling with him last season, and I honestly don't know that he'll have another season like he did... As it's been pointed out elsewhere, none of the teams he was on in the past made it past the first round, if they even made it there. He is good at what he does when he is doing it well, but he's not doing it well this season and he is limited.

First Lance was the scapegoat, and now that he's out and we're still getting our asses kicked, it's Al? Clifford is a poo coach. When you guys realize this and stop blaming a new player every week, you'll understand.

Kemba makes me feel good about his future when I was beginning to doubt him terribly on that west coast trip.

Its time to get the youth out there. Noah should be Pushing Cody bc Cody seems happy scoring 6 pts and 6 rebound nights when his talent and abilty is much better than that.

Its a group of really passive guys out there outside of Kemba and Al... Neal has it but is physically limited by his size at the 2.

We need more alpha personalities out there not named Lance.

You're the guy that looks and sees that Al was 1st team All-NBA and therefore he must be kept rather than seeing Orlando absolutely owned the paint because Al can't play defense and no longer has McBob to bail him out on that end.

He has always been the same player offensively, but there's a reason this is his fourth team in his career.

He is in a contract year and the most wins a team has had with him on it is 47. That was his rookie season. Do we really want to invest in him for what he will command? Utah and Minnesota did not. Think about that. UTAH AND MINNESOTA.

He has to score 20 a night to at least be a zero in plus minus. He did that last year. He will not do that again in his career.

Management that doesn't look at the entire scope of the players on their roster is how you wind up with the Hurney-era Panthers.

    • I didn't say much bigger. Watch the highlights I linked. Bryce doesn't have the arm strength and/or talent to make the vast majority of the throws Mac made in that video.
    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
