We have been running a base Defense so it really not fair to put all the blame on the S. Pass rush is our problem IMO threw this preseason. If we dont get pressure it dose not matter how good or bad our Secondary is.

I am not basing my thoughs of a really tough pre season, I am basing mine on the last 5 games of last year, and the fact the we lost the best run stuffer in the team.

Nobody is panicking. I'm just pointing out that our safeties are sub-par at best. I've thought that since last year.

Like Mike Rucker said in the broadcast last night... The defense is exactly the same. Its still a bend but dont break philosophy they just "simplified" some of the schemes.

It still goes back to us running something resembling a cover 2 scheme and having safeties who suck in coverage.
