I'd like to point out there's a subtle but important difference between n00bs and newbs. Best described here

Some fans i.e. newbs might be more upset about the pre-season because they aren't aware about the vanilla packages etc, and with a little information, they have the chance to become productive posters.

As for n00bs, yeah they're worthless, but there's not much you can do about stupid people except avoid them as explained in this excellent article.

good point. for the purposes of this proposal however they are both one in the same as they both pollute equally. The "don't like it don't read it" approach is not really effective when 75% of the threads on page one are all equally ignorant.
