Atl Falcons elite defense?

The Falcons defense is rated 32nd in yards and passing yards, since the run was brought up, they're 18th there.  Whenever a team is bottom five in one side of defense I like to look at how they are per attempt to get a better idea for where they are there, and they're 14th in y/a rushing. So the OL will have to get on it, but how much of that's situational, 8 men in the box stuff?

Funny that I think our defense crept into the top 10. Theirs, well I guess they shut down Eazy Breezy and think they are good all of a sudden.

Pie just for "Eazy Breezy". lol

Since the last game, we have an improved o-line, an improved group of defensive backs, a bruising RB that is healthy & a QB that is back to enjoying football. The Panthers are healthy & getting better each game. The Falcons are sliding backwards as they tend to do in December. So Falcon fans resort to hallucinogens:  "Under the influence of hallucinogens, people see images, hear sounds, and feel sensations that seem real but are not."  http://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/hallucinogens-lsd-peyote-psilocybin-pcp

24 points in Philly: PR TD, and at least 17 POT.

21 to Minny with 2 ST and a pick 6.

7 to Pitt(philly muff)

10 to Cincy- long KR and int in our territory that led to FG.

14 POT to Chicago

7 POT to NO game 1

Seems like we gave up another PR TD to someone else I can't recall. And when I say POT I mean either direct score or ball in red zone. Plus there are some more out there I am missing.

There should be more in the Pitt game. Our ST also had 2 penalties that extended their drives.

Falcons offense is more elite than any offense in nfl history.

Their defense is legendary.

I try to be a realist about both teams in this match-up......but to hear some of them,  you'd think it was the 16-0 Patriots going up against the 0-16 Lions.

I see you representing over there. Your post are very fair and analytical, but their homers seem to be more ignorant and delusional than the averege homer.

They give up nearly 300 yards per game in the air.  They give up over 100 on the ground-

32nd in the league vs the pass.  Reason?  They bring the safeties up to help stop the run (they are about 18th vs the run).  The last time we played them, Cam was staying in the pocket.  This time, they will have to keep a S in the box.  Stew is running on fresh legs.  The OL is firing on all cylinders.  If they think they have the defense to stop us, they have not done the math.
