Since picking 21st or later is now a legit possiblilty. . .

With the glut at RB currently, I would not want to spend a first rounder on an injured one

this RB class is really deep. a guy i am liking that is an all around back is Jay Ajayi from Boise St, who could be had int the 2nd-or 3rd round. or a Mike Davis from South Carolina that could be there in the 4th.

I agree that the performance of previous drafts' OTs could cause a bit of a slide.

I think there's going to be a lot of DTs and DEs taken early in this draft.  Some great talent there.

If a guy who DG thinks is legit LT capable is there, take a stab at him but I think a WR, DE, or CB is more likely.   Safety class is thin but I love Clayton Geathers at SS in the mid rounds.

I would much rather us address LT in free agency and focus on WR/S/DE in the 1st and 2nd round. I'm not sure there will be a player in the 20's worth picking that's THAT much better than what our options will be in the 2nd round.

As I look back over the last dozen or so years of the NY Giants drafts, this is pretty much the strategy.   Very few tackles in their history that have been taken in the first round.

I can see Gman nabbing a solid OT in FA and then still drafting one in the 3rd or 5th to develop behind the new starter.

NY G's philosophy seem to be WR's, CB's, S's and a lot of DE's in the first and second

But there aren't any decent LT in FA

I am really liking what I am hearing about Flowers from Miami

Excellent feet

Quickness

Agility

Jr.

6'6 324

should be the 4th tackle taken, so he should be there when we pick.

Those are excellent qualities, good to hear.  Isn't he the guy that was playing all up and down the line too?  So add versatility to the list.  I'd be more than ok with him at 32.

Every draft is different, but there were 5 OT's taken by pick 19 last draft.

Picking at 25 (providing we beat the Cards), might not yield what we would like, but i hope so
