I think Crabtree is a decent WR. I heard that he does want to play with Cam. I'll bring him in for a visit but he won't get #1 WR money from the Panthers though. Especially with Cam and Luke got contract extensions coming up.

He has talent, but his belief that he SHOULD be a number one exceeds his ability to work to actually be one. I wouldn't want a guy like that in the WR room with the young guys we have.

Our team is full of guys who have a workman's mentality. I'd like to see that trend continue.

No offense, but the point about TD helping with his recovery is a bit of a reach.  TD has a strong work ethic, but he is not rehabbing a recent surgery, so why would he do the job of the trainer and strength coach? 

 

OTHERS: Be careful about calling Crabtree names.  He has never really had a strong-armed, accurate qb throwing to him.  Alex Smith (limited route tree due to limited arm strength) and Kaepernick (some punters are more accurate).

Depends on how much we have to pay, but if the price is right, he would be ok.  But If we are going to sign a free agent, I would prefer a tackle, and draft a receiver.
