Beats are solid, but I gave mine to my wife and got some v-modas. For one, the earpieces on the beats are way too small. Sound quality on my v-modas are also better. I posted pics of my headphones with custom Panthers shields a year or so ago heh.

i can't help but wonder if these types of gifts are redundant. what players don't already have tablets, tvs, and slick headphones? but whatever, it's christmas and it's the thought that counts. i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these types of things end up with family members and friends.
